FIT

Who this is for, and who it isn't.

A strong fit

  • Owner-operated businesses in construction and the trades, auto repair, restaurants, real estate or services
  • Companies with employees, subcontractors or more than one entity
  • Owners who want accounting, payroll and tax under one relationship
  • Businesses that want a monthly close and numbers they can actually use
  • Owners who want to talk before big decisions, not after

Probably not a fit

  • One-off return prep with no ongoing accounting relationship
  • Shopping for the lowest-cost bookkeeping available
  • Records that won't be provided on a regular schedule

Individual tax work is still available for our business owners and their families. It just isn't what the firm is built around.

IF YOUR BOOKS ARE BEHIND

Cleanup comes before monthly work.

We review what is in the file, reconcile accounts back to the last reliable point, fix the chart of accounts, and then start monthly close.

You get a plain list of what we found and what we changed, so you know where the books stand before the monthly work begins.

COMMON QUESTIONS

Answers before we get started.

Every situation is different. These are the questions owners ask us most.

How is outsourced accounting different from bookkeeping?

Bookkeeping records transactions. Outsourced accounting covers more of the process: reconciliations, month-end close, financial statements, QuickBooks management, tax coordination and helping you read the numbers.

Can you clean up QuickBooks if my books are behind?

Yes. We can catch up and reorganize QuickBooks when transactions, accounts or reconciliations aren't reliable, then keep it clean going forward.

What does monthly accounting cost?

It depends on the size of the business, the condition of the books and how much support you need. We set the scope and a fixed monthly fee after reviewing your current setup.

Do you work in QuickBooks Online and Xero?

Yes, both. Most of our clients are on QuickBooks Online.

How long until my books are current?

It depends on how far behind they are and how quickly documents arrive. We give you a timeline after reviewing the file, not before.

Do I need to change from QuickBooks to something else?

No. We work in QuickBooks Online and Xero, and most clients stay in what they already use.

NEXT STEP

Ready to make the financial side easier?

Tell us where things stand and what you want fixed. We'll start with a short fit conversation, then a review of your books before anyone quotes a price.
